A Whatcom County holiday tradition for 44 years! The Holiday Festival of the Arts is an indoor and online, 5 week-long festival featuring over 100 artisans from our region. Aside from vendors selling their wares, the festival boasts live music, workshops for children and artists demonstrating their craft. Saturdays & Sundays: Live music and free kids activities. The two-fold purpose of our festivals is to encourage and support the creation and sale of locally produced fine art and craft while providing an opportunity to connect artists and craftspeople with the general public.​​​​

It’s a forum for creative expression, a classroom for esoteric wisdom, a soapbox for wild ideas, a miraculous marketplace of the unconventional, a metaphorical Serengetian watering hole where the zebras and wildebeests of inspiration and artistry congregate amidst the snapping crocodiles and scorching sunbeams of originality and ingenuity… umm yeah. U-District Street Fair

The U District Street Fair returns for its 53rd year during the weekend of May 18-19, 2024 kicking-off Seattle’s summer event season with a 10 block-long arts and crafts fair that takes over University Way (a.k.a. “The Ave”). The two-day event will also feature free live music and performances, and over 40 food trucks and booths. This Seattle tradition regularly attracts over 50,000 visitors and now is accessible by link light rail which will transport visitors to the middle of the event at NE 43rd Street.

The Fremont Fair benefits the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization that supports Shop Local, is responsible for procuring and maintaining most of the amazing public art on display throughout the Fremont neighborhood, and celebrates individual talents and creativity to further develop the community, promote business, and education opportunities in Fremont.
